Konica Minolta displays Sonimage HS1 at ESRA 2016
The congress for the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA) took place in the MECC in Maastricht from 7-10 September 2016. Approximately 1450 participants from over 72 countries attended the congress and visited the exhibition.
Konica Minolta attended ESRA for the first time, demonstrating the Sonimage HS1, its powerful and portable ultrasound system. As a relatively new provider in the ultrasound market, Konica Minolta is well aware of the needs of specialists when it comes to the ease of use of the systems. Therefore, Konica Minolta combined the advantage of touch screen technology with a simplified console, with only 8 buttons and an integrated trackball.
The Sonimage HS1 has a compact design, making it easy to carry with a weight of under 8 kilograms. Boot-up of the system can be achieved in less than 15 seconds from standby.
The most important feature, is the exceptional image accuracy, resulting in a clearer identification of the sonoanatomy visualised. The Sonimage HS1 delivers outstanding image clarity on its large, high- performance IPS LCD monitor.
Besides the exhibition, Konica Minolta also proudly provided the Sonimage HS1 for 14 well- visited clinical workshops. In these hands-on clinical sessions, regional anaesthesiologists explained new (pain) treatment techniques to participants.
